Joe has been involved in all aspects of work at Mount Isa Mines through various contracting companies and gained extensive experience in differing managerial capabilities with these companies. Through management buy-out in 1976 Joe established the business in Mount Isa.

 

Joseph (Sep) Schmider DipMechE                                       Managing Director Mount Isa Sep joined the company in 1984 and has held positions of Estimator, Workshop Forman, Operations Manager and finally General Manager. During his time with the company Sep has gained extensive experience in all aspects of the engineering industry and has been able to bring specialised skills to these areas. Gerhardt (Gary) Schmider DipMechE                                               Managing Director Brisbane Gary joined the company in 1982 as an apprentice Boilermaker. He subsequently held positions as Tradesman, Workshop Forman, Estimator, W.H.&S. Officer, Q.A. Officer and Workshop Manager. Gary has extesive experience in safety, quality assurance, fabrication techniques, welding proceedures, maintenance and construction and has the skils to take a project from development stage through to completion.
